The purpose of the course is to provide the participant with information and activities that will enable selection and safe usage of a range of portable fire extinguishers as well as the use of fire blankets and a fire hose reel, including the rewinding technique and checking for leaks after the system has been shut down.

Portable Fire Extinguishers
Fire Blankets
Fixed Fire Hose Reels
First Attack Procedures

All participants will have the opportunity to use a fire extinguisher on a live flame.
